We only collect what we need to get your pickle to you. We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising trackers.
In short
- We use your details only to take, deliver and look after your order.
- We share them only with our payment partner and the courier.
- Our site analytics are anonymous: no cookies, no profiles, no recordings.
- Ask us any time to see, correct or delete your data.
Who we are
AG Pickles is a brand of MK Food Services, Mehjoor Nagar, Srinagar, Kashmir, India. We decide how your personal data is used, which makes us its "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Questions go to [email protected].
What we collect
When you place an order, we ask for:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address
- your delivery address
- your order details: what you bought, what you paid and when
We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. You enter those with our payment partner, not with us.
Why we use it
- to take your payment and deliver your order
- to send you order updates and your tracking link by SMS and email
- to help if something goes wrong with your order
- to keep the records that tax law asks us to keep
Who we share it with
- Our payment partner, to take your payment.
- The courier that delivers your parcel: your name, phone number and address.
The companies that host our website and send our order emails and texts handle your details only to do that job for us. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone, and we'd share it with anyone else only if the law required us to.
Website analytics
We count visits to agpickles.com with PostHog, so we can see which pages people use. It's anonymous:
- no cookies (a random visitor number is kept in your browser's local storage instead)
- no personal profiles and no session recordings
- if your browser sends Do Not Track, nothing is counted at all
PostHog stores this visit data on servers in the United States. Like any website host, Cloudflare, which serves our site, also sees basic technical data such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for 8 years, because GST law requires us to. Anything else we delete when you ask us to, or once we no longer need it.
Keeping it safe
Your details travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and only the people who handle your order can see them.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you
- correct it, or fill in anything missing
- delete it (apart from order records the law says we must keep)
Email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp. We'll acknowledge your request within 48 hours and sort it out within one month. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to our Grievance Officer, and after that to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
